Metal Injection Moulding Sinter Supports by Ceramic Additive Manufacturing
DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY (Jul. 13, 2020) Dr. Samuel von Karsa-Wilberforce of Emery’s Green Polymer Additives business unit, and co-authors recently published an article in the June 2020 issue of Powder Injection Moulding International magazine entitled: “The production and evaluation of alumina sinter supports for metal injection moulding by ceramic additive manufacturing”.
The article showcases Emery Oleochemicals’ PIM binder system which was utilized to create the alumina filaments used in the study, processed by Material Extrusion (MEX). Partners in the study include CMG Technologies, 3DGence Sp. z.o.o., Spectrum Filaments, SiCeram GmbH and Ingenieur-Buero Jaeckel.
