Emery Oleochemicals LLC Welcomes New Area Business Manager to Support its Green Polymer Additives Business
CINCINNATI, OH, USA (June 17, 2019) - Emery Oleochemicals, a world leading, natural–based specialty chemicals producer and the largest oleochemicals manufacturer in the Americas, is pleased to announce that Jeff McCarthy has joined its North American Specialties Sales Group as an Area Business Manager to support the company’s Green Polymer Additives business. Mr. McCarthy will be responsible for maintaining and growing the business with both existing and new customers focusing on the Midwest region of the United States, including supporting the growth of local area distribution partners.
Mr. McCarthy graduated from the University of Akron, Ohio with a BS degree in Chemistry. Prior to joining Emery Oleochemicals LLC, he was a Key Account Manager for TPU with Huntsman. Mr. McCarthy’s experience also includes additives and colorants sales to the plastics and coatings industries as well as working in an engineering capacity with catalysts for the petrochemicals industry and lab work as a chemist to optimize and manufacture both products and intermediate chemicals for transition lenses.
