Emery Oleochemicals Donates for Emergency Aid to Ukrainian Refugees
DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY (June 17, 2022) - To help Ukrainian refugees, Emery Oleochemicals GmbH supported a fundraising campaign organized by Aktion Deutschland Hilft, Germany’s Relief Coalition. Numerous Emery employees participated, generously donating approximately 2000,- € to aid the people in need. “Every day we read the tragic news from the Ukraine. Many people had to leave their homes with only the bare necessities, and without knowing if they ever can return. Others stayed to defend their country. Emery Oleochemicals wants to help those in need. Therefore, all donations from Emery employees have been matched Euro-for-Euro by the Company,” said Joern Ellerbrake, Managing Director of Emery Oleochemicals Europe. The money will be spent to supply refugee shelters with essentials such as medicine, food, and clothing.
