CINCINNATI, OH (Feb. 23, 2018) – Emery Oleochemicals, a world-leading, natural-based specialty chemicals producer, is pleased to announce its participation at Foam Expo 2018 being held in Novi, Michigan, USA on March 6 - 8.

Greg Hunt, Flexible Foam and CASE Applications Business Manager for Emery's Eco-Friendly Polyols business platform, will present “Achieving Sustainability and Performance Objectives with Biobased and Recycled Content Polyols” during the Sustainability Track, which is scheduled at 11:45 am on Tuesday, March 6th.

Emery's presentation during the panel discussion will address the challenges of improving sustainability in the polyurethane marketplace and outline how Emery's development of high-performance polyols with high renewable content is enabling the adoption of biobased polyols.

Historically, the flexible foam industry has been slow to adopt the use of biobased polyols. However, due to Emery's dedicated product and application development process focused on meeting customers' key requirements, high-performance characteristics similar to petrochemical-based polyols have been achieved in the company's EMEROX® brand diacid-based polyols, which offer the additional benefit of high biobased content to meet sustainability objectives.
