Emery Oleochemicals’ Green Polymer Additives Business Joins MIM Expert Group
DÜSSELDORF, GERMANY (January 19, 2022) – To further expand its business network and to exchange knowledge in an important industrial market segment, Emery Oleochemicals’ Green Polymer Additives Business Unit recently became a member of the Metal Injection Molding (MIM) Expert Group.
MIM is recognized by all industrial branches as a cost-efficient and reliable production method for metallic parts with an annual production of 5,000 to 4,000,000 parts. The MIM Expert Group is a technical working group of the German powder metallurgy committee; with a key objective of the advancement of MIM technology.
The members of this group are industrial partners and research institutes. Manufacturers of MIM parts cooperate closely with partners from the fields of metal powder and feedstock supply, producers of injection molding machines and furnaces for heat treatment as well as with research institutes. The MIM Expert Group shares comprehensive knowledge on the complete MIM process chain.
