Ohio Chemistry Technology Council Award
On 19 April, Emery Oleochemicals LLC received the OCTC Excellence Award for environmental performance at a ceremony in Columbus OH. The award recognized the significant reduction in air and waste water emissions over the past 3 years. The environmental emissions reductions include:

- Sulfur Dioxide - 37%
- Nitrogen Oxides - 30%
- Acid Gasses - 34%
- Particulate Matter - 72%
- TRI reported VOC's - 62%
Waste Water Emissions Reduction
- Water Volume - 27%
- Biological Oxygen Demand - 37%
